The exploitation of biologically active secondary metabolites for useful applications, including therapeutic drugs, is far from new. Since ancient times, nature has been recognized as an important source of potential drugs; examples of early uses and benefits of natural products for human can be found in most major civilizations (Newman et al., 2000; Constantino et al., 2004). The use of natural products for medical purposes slowly developed into the scientific field of pharmacogenosy. However, this was not until the early 1800’s when the active principles from plants were isolated and characterized. Among the first active principles isolated were morphine atropine, colchicines and caffeine (Newman et al., 2000). Morphine, atropine, and caffeine are today listed as core medicines in the World Health Organization’s “Essential Drugs List”, which is a list of minimum medical needs for basic health care systems (WHO, 2005).

The study aimed to investigate the potential impact of institutional structure (IS) on organizational effectiveness (OE) as it was recommended to be further explored. It was hypothesized that organizational justice will mediate the IS-OE relationship. This empirical study was conducted in higher education institutes (HEIs) in Lahore with academicians as respondents. 327 respondents were contacted and data were gathered. Multiple Regression was employed to test the hypothesized relationships. The results validated the model proving partial mediation of OJ.

It specifically examines the functionality of the financial programming model of the IMF vis-à-vis its adoption and imposition on LDC’s. This is in turn juxtaposed with foundational Islamic norms. The author concludes with some remarks and recommendations.

Manju Kapur's A Married Woman highlights Astha's struggle and survival as a new woman insisting on liberation from patriarchal social structure and thinking. She emerges as a free woman, destroying the chain of tradition. Kapur thus portrays the woman from different angle by placing her in the midst of socio-economic struggles.

If the initial temperature is an even power function, then the heat transform with the source solution as the kernel gives the heat polynomials. We discuss various properties of the heat polynomial and its Appell type transform. Also, we give series representation of the heat transform when the initial temperature is a power function.

In this paper the convolution product associated with the Bessel type wavelet transformation is investigated. Certain norm inequalities for the convolution product are established.

The present investigation is aimed at the experimental and theoretical studies on molecular structure, vibration spectra of Acetone Thiosemicarbazone (C4H9N3S) were studied The FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra was recorded. The molecular geometry and vibrational frequencies of the ground state were calculated by using Hartee-Fock and Density functional methods (B3LYP) with6-311, 6-311++G(d,p)basis sets. Comparison of the observed fundamental vibrational frequencies of Acetone Thiosemicarbazone by HF and DFT method. The electric dipole moment (?) and the first hyperpolarizability (?) values of the investigated molecule were also computed.

In this paper, the North east corner [NEM] procedure is successfully coded and tested via many randomly generated problem instances . Based on the results we can conclude that the correctness of the newly coded NEM is promising as compared with the previously coded one.

The present paper intends to bring forward the impact of T.V programs on Indian College Students’ behavior. The progress of the human civilization is demarcated with district eras; these eras have been characterized by technological advances and innovation that changed the human life. The latest innovation to multiple satellite TV channels into the drawing of urban Indian is greatly determining the TV viewing behavior. The present study is conducted with the following objectives: 1.To find out the TV viewing behavior of Arts College Students in terms of various TV channels and types of programs . 2. To assess the perception of college youth regarding to TV programs and their influences both positive and negative. 3. To find out whether there is any association between certain demographic variables pertaining to College youth and their perception of TV programs. Keeping these objectives of the studying in view, the following questions have been formulated for variation: 1.Are the respondents, (College Students of Art College) likely to perceive the foreign program as source of negative influences? 2.Do the respondents watch Foreign Programs more than Indian programs? 3.Do the respondents watch documentaries less than the other type of films? The Sample is 120 Native Students from the Art College of Osmania University, (Hyderabad. India) which selected randomly from different departments. Keeping the study objectives in view, a questionnaire in English was developed pretested.

Present study focused on detection of Aspergillus and Curvularia species from contaminated peri-urban agricultural area of Kasur by soil serial dilution method. Genetic variability among the fungi was determined by RAPD technique. Genomic DNA was extracted and amplified with 8 RAPD markers which were previously designed for Aspergillus species. Amplified products of DNA were analyzed electrophoretically and fragments ranging in 250-10000bp were generated. Clustering analysis was accomplished and a significant genetic relation was found in the isolates of these two genera which would be helpful in devising management approaches appropriate to bioremediation of contaminated soils.
