SHG is the best-root for triggering IGPs in rural and tribal areas and especially areas not properly connected to mainstream living. Coined with the multi-pronged objectives of development and empowerment of weaker section of the society, the strategy and methodology adopted to address the issues are taking care of the need of the marginalized at different economic strata’s through creating enabling environment for addressing the issues. The study is broadly measuring the level and impact of micro credit interventions, functionality and viability of institutions to management the credit, Micro Credit Plans for Self-help Groups as well as the sustainability of the initiatives following a peoples approach.

The pressure – volume - temperature equation of state (EOS) of Vetreloy glasses is fundamental to high- pressure science because of its widespread use as an internal pressure standard. In the present work an attempt has been made to correlate Stacey K primed EOS (SRKP-EOS) with Kushwah EOS for calculating pressure at different compression ranges from (V/V₀ = 1.0 to V/V₀ = 0.5) for four different Zr based vetreloy glasses viz. Zr₄₁Ti₁₄Cu_12.5Ni₁₀Be_22.5, Zr₄₁Ti₁₄Cu_12.5Ni₉Be_22.5C₁, Zr₄₈Nb₈Cu₁₂Fe₈Be₂₄, and (Zr_0.59Ti_0.06Cu_0.23Ni_0.13)_85.7 and obtained result is compared with available theoretical data. The result shows that at compression range V/V₀=1.0 to V/V₀=0.6 both the EOS viz SRKP-EOS and Kushwah EOS cooperate well with available theoretical data proposed by Vinet but at compression V/V₀=0.5 they show a remarkable deviation.

The decision to spend on Research and Development (R&D) is very crucial for the growth of any firm. This study explores the determinants of R&D intensities in selected Indian firms that spend on R&D activities. The impact of business house affiliation on R&D activities is also taken as a crucial factor determining R&D activities. The study found that R&D behavior for the period 2003-2009 is different from the year 2010. The year 2010 being the recovery year there has been significant rise in R&D spending among the selected firms. As there are some interrelated variables in the model, the simultaneity in the models is verified with Hausman tests and then two-stage least square method is applied for the empirical estimation and analysis. Outward orientation, profitability, imports of capital goods, advertisement etc. turned out to be important determinants of R&D intensity. Business group affiliation as such has a negative role in R&D intensity except for top-50 business houses in certain year.

The present study was conducted in rural Mangalore taluk of Daskhina Kannada district of Karnataka state to explore the pattern of social support system and life satisfaction elders and to seek the scope for social work intervention in this case. A simple random sample of 60 elders was covered from the study area. The data were collected through pretested semi-structured questionnaires and data were analyzed by using percentages and proportions. Out of 60 respondents, 45(75%) elders were married and living with their family members. The Family members were quoted as most important social support network factors for life satisfaction in the case of 48(80%). It was found that 42 (70%) respondents were not anxious about the future, since the respondents are economically sustainable and position in the family is comparatively good.

The construction industry is a significant part of economic in each country and makes an important contribution to gross domestic product, employment and capital formation. There are various problems encountering the construction industry and these hardships run rather deeper in developing countries. Purpose/methodology: In an effort to investigate and develop the construction industry in developing countries in Asia, especially in Iran, this study aims to examine the understanding, profitability and public satisfaction about the construction project and focuses on nine areas of distinct project management knowledge in order to verify their level of implementation these factors into the construction context. The large number of professionals of construction industry of Iran was chosen for this research, the research was conducted through a structured questionnaire. The analysis method in this research is quantitative. SPSS version 19 was used to analysis the data. Findings: This study finds out that public satisfaction have direct effect on profitability of the constructions project and, also a majority of respondents believe that project managers have an effective role to develop construction industry. In addition, the level of implementation project management knowledge areas in current construction industry in Iran is less than average.

Vibrational spectral analysis of 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluoroaniline (PFA) was recorded using FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopic techniques in the region 4000-400 cm^-1 and 3500-100 cm^-1, respectively. The equilibrium geometry, and harmonic vibrational frequencies of PFA have been investigated with the help of HF/6-311++G(d,p) and B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) methods. The observed and calculated frequencies are found to be in good agreement.

The harmonic mean labeling is a variation of arithmetic mean labeling. We investigate harmonic mean labeling for various graphs resulted from the duplication of graph elements.

Fracture is the major failure in sheet metal forming, and the selection of an appropriate material for a component still depends on designer’s experience and trial and error.  In order to ensure a component to be free from fracture, it is advantageous and gainful to use an analytical model to understand the influence of the material properties on the formability of the designed component before the component is put into production. The effect of the parameters m-value (yield equation constant), p - value  (exponential parameter involved in r- value), and r-value (plastic anisotropic ratio or radius of curvature of the neck)  on  non- linear , linear Forming Limit Stress Curves ( FLSCs)  and  Forming Limit Strain Curves ( FLCs)  are analysed using new yield  equation for Interstitial – Free (IF) steels  of different thickness. IF steel of thickness 0.6 mm is taken as IF steel (1) ,1.6 mm is taken as IF steel (2) and 0.85 (non-coated) is taken as IF steel (3) for convenience.

Knowledge Process Outsourcing, or KPO, is the latest wave to hit the outsourcing business in India. A booming sector with tremendous potential, the KPO sector in India employs around 25,000 people currently. KPO is Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO). It involves outsourcing for high-end knowledge work. This includes research and work on intellectual property, equity and finance, analytics, market research and data management, et cetera. This article is prepared for better understanding of the concept and state of India in the sector.

Physico-chemical properties of ink particles have an important role in deinking using either washing or flotation processes. To study such properties, turbidity, zeta potential and surface tension techniques were used in this research. In this work, oleic acid and xylanase are used as surface modifiers for the ink particles. The results show that addition of enzyme alone to the ink suspension and due to its adsorption on ink particles, increase ink dispersion. This will facilitate separation of ink using washing process. On the other hand, the addition of enzyme-oleic acid blend to ink suspension reduces the electronegativity of ink particles. This will make the ink particles to flocculate and facilitate its adhesion to the negatively charged air bubbles during the flotation process. It is expected that this fundamental knowledge will lead to process technology improvements in the deinking of office wastepaper.
