Abstract The research work was designed to find out the relationship between improvised and standard instructional material with academic performance in physics, in udu local government area of delta state. Some secondary schools in the area were used in the research. The data was collected via questionnaire in which students administered using chi-square method for the analysis; it was found out that the calculated value was more than the critical value which implied that there was significant effect of improvised and standard instructional material on the performance of secondary school students. This leads to the conclusion that government should endeavor to provide standard instructional materials for secondary school students so that there learning can be effective.

In the world wide network, there are several websites, in which each and every system has to be protected securely. The DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) make DNS the first core Internet system to be protected using public key cryptography. The DNSSEC not only protects the DNS, but has created interest in using this secured global database .There are several websites which are protected using different security schemes and are made less prone to the intruder .To save the data from misused, the admin control are also needs to be protected from viewing the public data. And to enforce these techniques, we need to fully encrypt the data and the database from viewing the actual data and transform into unusual data .Therefore, the data has been hided and protected from general view. In this paper, I propose to achieve a new theoretical model, called Public Data, which is robust and free from verification deployments as Communities of Trust (CoTs) by which it makes them secure . A reasonable DNSSEC deployment model and a typical choice of a CoT, has been properly implemented to protect the full data access for the general view of the user. Our limited deployment of Vantages has outperformed the verifiability of DNSSEC and has properly validated .Then the various adversary would be able to Man-in-middle attacks on arbitrary traffic into autonomous systems. Then the whole database and the backend process are encrypted and are in non-viewable formats.

Abstract The corrosion inhibition and adsorption process of D - Tryptophan (DT) on mild steel in 2 HCl was studied by means of chemical (weight loss), electrochemical and quantum chemical techniques. The inhibition efficiency increases with decreasing temperature and increasing concentration of inhibitor. It has been determined that the adsorption of DT on mild steel obeys the Temkin adsorption isotherm at all studied temperatures with negative values of ?Goads, suggesting a stable and a spontaneous inhibition process. In potentiodynamic polarization, the curves shifted towards lower current density in the presence of the DT with well-defined Tafel regions suggesting that the inhibitor retard the corrosion process without changing the mechanism of the corrosion process; and exhibit cathodic and anodic polarization (mixed type inhibitor) because the change in Ecorr is less than 85 vM/SCE with respect to the blank. Corrosion current density was calculated by extrapolation of the linear parts of these curves to the corresponding corrosion potential; and corrosion potential (Ecorr), corrosion current densities (icorr), anodic Tafel slope (?a), cathodic Tafel slope (?b) were determined with maximum value of inhibition efficiency for 5 x 10-4 M concentration of the inhibitor at 303 K was 78.4%. Quantum chemical calculations were performed using Density Functional Theory (DFT) with the help of complete geometry optimization for theoretical calculations of EHOMO, ELUMO, and energy gap (?E). Inhibition efficiency increases with increasing EHOMO indicating that the molecule has tendency to donate electrons to the mild steel with low energy empty molecular orbital; whereas low value of ELUMO suggests that the molecule easily accepts electrons from mild steel.

The main aim of our project is to avoid conflicts at intersections and cross sections by proposing a Safe and efficient design of Four Phase Traffic Signal. At intersections where there are large number of crossings and right turns, there will be a possibility of several accidents or traffic jams due to the in order movement of traffic especially at cross sections. The earlier practice of controlling the traffic by a traffic police using stop signs alternately at the cross roads so that one stream of traffic is allowed while the traffic flow from the other stream is stopped was quite effective. But now a days, due to the increase of traffic as well as pollution, a lot of difficulties are being faced with the employment of a traffic police. In this aspect, the same problem is been faced at Sreenivas Centre in Nandyal which is a four legged intersection. The heavy traffic flowing from bus-stand towards Atmakur and Srisailam causes a lot of conflicts in the traffic flow from Nunepally towards Gandhi Chowk and Byrmal Street . So in this connection, in order to have a pleasant and safe travel, there should be an orderly movement of traffic which is possible through signal control. So there is a strong requirement of signal regulated traffic flow for the four legged intersection at Sreenivas Centre. This project deals with the design of cycle length for the four phases by Webster method.

The problem of accident is very acute in highway transportation, leading to loss of life and property. The various causes of road accidents are road users, vehicular defects, road condition, road design, environmental factors and other causes such as improper location of advertisement boards, improper location of level crossings not closed when required etc. Road accidents cannot be totally prevented, but by adopting suitable traffic engineering and management systems the accident rate can be reduced to a certain extent. Proper investigation of the cause of accident will help to propose preventive measures in terms of design and control. With this back ground in the present the detailed investigation on the quantification of accidents in Nandyal town, Andhra Pradesh has been carried out and suitable remedial measures has been suggested by conducting through filed investigations.

High peak-to-average power ratio of the transmit signal is a major drawback of multi-carrier transmission such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, which causes power inadequacy in Radio Frequency section of the transmitter. This paper describe some of the important PAPR reduction techniques for multi-carrier transmission including amplitude clipping and filtering, partial transmit sequence, selected mapping, and active constellation extension. Among various PAPR reduction techniques, neural network is the most powerful techniques in reducing the PAPR due its good generalization properties with flexible modelling and learning capabilities.

An efficient and adequate transportation system is one of the key indicators of a nation’s prosperity, its developmental status and overall economic growth. The roads pass through areas with extreme climatic conditions from heavy rainfall to desert conditions; diverse terrains from plains to extremely high mountains, plateaus and varying soil grades, rocky and gravelly to marshy land. Over the past four decades, the share of total rail and road traffic carrying passengers and goods is gradually increasing because of fast and ever-increasing industrial, commercial, and other socioeconomic development activities, the road transport vehicle population, especially the vehicles carrying goods, has also increased phenomenally during this period. Because of economies in road transportation, overloading by truck operators is common. The majority of the arterial road system experiences overloading, as much as 18 to 20-tonne axle loads versus the permissible legal limit of 10.2 tonnes. The existing road network has shown signs of premature distress because of the unexpected demands of growing traffic volume and heavier axle loads. The network has fallen short of its structural capacity and hence it is greatly overstrained. The majority of allocated funds are utilized for providing maintenance and rehabilitation measures to the existing network rather than for new construction. With this background, in the present study, a road section is identified in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh to carry out the pavement performance study on distresses. For the selected stretch, data was collected on rutting, ravelling, potholes, edge failures, traffic, etc. The detailed analysis was performed using NCSS statistical tool and to develop a pavement performance model for the selected stretch.

Additive or constructive manufacturing is a manufacturing technology in which prototypes and functional parts are built through layer by layer addition of material directly by importing the STL file from CAD software to 3D printer. Unlike many manufacturing processes in which material destruction or erosion takes place in this technology material is successively added in a constructive manner to obtain physical 3D object. Due to its simplified product development process it has a wide range of applications in many distinct areas like Automobile, Aerospace, Architecture, bio medics and consumer goods. Since inception many additive manufacturing techniques were evolved and a variety of materials from the classes of metals, polymers, ceramics and composites are utilized. As the numbers of applications are increasing day to day the development of new materials has gained significant importance. In the current paper an over view of developed materials for additive manufacturing processes are reviewed and recent research developments in natural, diverse materials for additive manufacturing applications are discussed.

Various new technologies and aiding instruments are always being introduced for the betterment of the challenged. This project focuses on aiding the mute in expressing their views and ideas in a much efficient and effective manner thereby creating their own place in this world. The proposed system focuses on using various gestures traced into texts which could in turn be transformed into speech. The gesture identification and mapping is performed by the Kinect device, which is found to cost effective and reliable. A suitable text to speech convertor is used to translate the texts generated from Kinect into a speech. The proposed system though cannot be applied to man-to-man conversation owing to the hardware complexities, but could find itself very much of use under addressing environments such as auditoriums, classrooms, etc

The cutting forces required for machining of a material are important factors in production design that need to be evaluated carefully for newly developed materials. The cutting forces directly influence the power requirement of the machine tool, tool deflection and tool wear, among other things. In this study a computational model will be developed for prediction of cutting forces in end milling of metal matrix composites. Modeling of cutting forces in milling involves evaluation of chip load, instantaneous shear angle, strain rate and temperature dependent shear stress. The computational model will be validated against experimental data from measurements of cutting forces during end milling of composites under different conditions. The validated model will then be used to conduct a parametric study on the influence of feed rate (f), depth of cutting (a), cutting speed (v), and other cutting parameters on the cutting forces generated during the end milling of composites.
