The concept of mutual funds is generated in 18 century. It has become important investment instrument for many patrons. As it, provides a wide range of diversification within its products. Mutual funds, on Indian Securities markets have become a significant mechanism of price discovery, portfolio diversification and risk hedging in recent times. Knowing the perception of mutual fund patron can help these institutions to market their schemes in a better way. Many patrons understand that investing in the securities market can help put them on the path to their financial objective and what is the best time to be in investment. In this study we want to the gender differentiation while investing in mutual funds with special reference to B class cities line Moradabad (UP) and also the best phase of investment in it. Study includes time factor and awareness factor for ascertaining the view of investor.

Wilm’s tumor is the most common retroperitoneal tumor extending into the Inferior vena cava (IVC) in a child. In 1% of cases right atrial (RA) extension may be encountered. Anesthesia for intracardiac resection of tumor thrombus remains a challenge. We report 2 cases of Wilm’s tumor, one extending upto IVC-RA junction and the other with RA involvement managed successfully with resection on cardiopulmonary bypass. In both patients epidural catheters were inserted for perioperative analgesia. Considerable controversy exists regarding insertion of epidural catheters in the face of systemic heparinization. However we report good outcomes in terms of analgesic efficacy, shorter perioperative course and no complications. A short discussion on the various methods of bypass employed for the removal of these tumors is included. We also discuss the utility of newer equipment like Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and ultrasound for perioperative anesthetic management. 

We report a case of a young patients with a residual mass surgery of a testicular cancer which was outside the recommended territories. This surgery was justified by the persistence of mass after chemotherapy , and more than a year after surgery our patient presents good evolution both clinical , biological and radiological .

This paper looked at Nigerian Law Library management in the age of technology using selected management theories. Classical, behavioural and modern management theories provided guidelines for providing a modus operandi in Nigerian academic Law Library management. This study showed that technological age has shifted intensively into educational settings, and information centres have taken the path of innovation to meet up with the demands of technology. Management theories were critically looked at and it was found that classical management theories were no fit for management of organisations in a dynamic technology era. Issues inherent in Nigerian academic Law Libraries were found inimical to the trends of technology age. Behavioural and Modern management theories were recommended for managing academic law libraries through the technological age. Chaotic theory, systems theory and contingency Management theories are subsets of modern theories deemed fit for a paradigm shift of academic Law libraries. While McGregor’s “Y” theory was deemed fit for applying right motivation to Law Library workforce.

In this paper fuzzy soft connectedness on fuzzy soft topological spaces are defined. Some related properties regarding the newly defined concepts are proved.

Nanocrystalline zinc sulphide (ZnS) thin films have been successfully deposited on silica glass substrates from acidic chemical baths containing tartaric acid and hydrazine as complexing agents, thioacetamide as a sulphur source and zinc acetate as the source of zinc ions. The influence of temperature on the structural-, optical-, morphological properties and elemental composition of the films were investigated by a variety of techniques. Powder x-ray diffraction patterns of the films exhibited the cubic structure. The deposition temperature had a significant influence on the lattice parameter and crystallite size. Scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive x-ray investigations have shown an improvement in morphology and stoichiometry of the films with increasing deposition temperature. The band gap of the thin films obtained by optical absorption spectroscopy showed a decrease from 3.88 eV to 3.75 eV as the deposition temperature increased. Transmittance of the films increased with decreasing deposition temperature.

The Finite Elements Method (FEM) analysis is very helpful in solving a wide variety of engineering problems. An application of finite elements method ranges across many different fields of modern science and of the manufacturing industry. The various applications in aircraft, space, ship building, the electrical and computer industry as well as in the field of science such as material engineering, mechatronics, biochemistry and even medicine must be emphasized. FEA of simulation gives better, more accurate and wider results than experimental methods. One of the examples of FEA application is strain analysis of joints and assembly structures of vehicles of machineries. It allows the kind of stresses occurring in the vehicles and the location their occurrence to be determined. In this study, a methodology of sequentially simulating each step in the manufacturing process of an assembly is proposed. Each step of the proposed methodology is described, and a validation of the prediction capabilities is performed by making a comparison with a physically manufactured assembly. The work presented here demonstrates that by using virtual prototyping it is possible to predict the final shape of an assembled structure. The trial and error development process may be shortened by replacing most of the physical try out with finite element simulation of the manufacturing process. The automotive industry is constantly looking at ways and means of reducing costs and staying profitable while delivering on time. The common denominator in all these challenges is design. Companies investing in developing indigenous design and manufacturing technologies emerge successful in the world market and are able to sustain and innovate at a faster pace than the rest of the competition. This is possible on account of the following capabilities such as delivering products faster with up-front engineering design validation as a part of the product development process while compressing the cycle time, lean design by incorporating value engineering as a part of the design process ensuring evaluation of least cost alternatives before even the first prototype is developed and increasing reliability by design – an initiative that will eliminate hidden costs associated with product recall, re-design and/ or replacement of parts. Increasing functional complexity, predatory pricing, compulsive cost reduction commitments, aggressive deadlines, field failures, warranty costs and product recalls are all too familiar situations in the automotive sector. This leads to greater innovation, process automation, shorter development cycles, design for durability, reduced physical prototypes, improved quality and innovation.

A variability analysis of some pedons formed on sedimentary parent materials in south-western Nigeria was made, and their potential for sustainable crop productivity was evaluated. Three locations (Eggua, Esan and Papalanto) were surveyed and sampled for the experiment. Three landscape positions (Upper, Middle and Lower Slopes) were identified and soil sample was collected at the depth of 0-30cm and 30-60cm for each landscape position for physical and chemical analysis in each of the location. Data collected were subjected to 2-Way Analysis of Variance arranged in a randomized completely block design with Location, landscape position and soil depth as factors and soil physical and chemical properties as variables. Significantly different means were separated using LSD at (P ? 0.05) level of probability. Descriptive statistical analysis was also carried out to evaluate measure of dispersion and mean for all variables. The variability of soil properties within and among pedons was measured by estimating the percentage coefficient of variation (%CV). The results of this study revealed that pH in water, pH in KCl, BS and BD had the least variation when compared with Na, ECEC and sand which showed low to moderate variation and TN, OC, P, Ca, Mg, K, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, silt and clay which shows low, moderate, high to very high variation. Also results from the analysis of variance also show that landscape positions have significant (P ? 0.05) effects on P, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, BS, Mg, Na, ECEC and silt, whereas, TN, OC, Ca, K, pH in water, pH in KCl, sand, clay and BD were not significantly influenced by landscape positions. Soil depth did not significantly (P ? 0.05) affect the availability, distribution and concentration of TN, P, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, BS, Ca, Mg, K, Na, ECEC, sand and silt. Significant (P ? 0.05) differences in OC, pH in water, pH in KCl, Clay and BD were observed with soil depth in all the three locations investigated.

The aim of this paper is to examine the anomalous variations of the critical frequency (foF2), Total Electron content (TEC) and foEs parameters before earthquake occurred on 01 April 2014 Iquique Chile (M=8.2) and on 25 October 2013 Japan(M=7.1). Using the Correlation technique we analyzed the foF2, TEC and foEs parameters. A sudden drop in cross correlation coefficient of foF2 observed 02 days before, drop for TEC observed 12 days before and drop for foEs parameter observed 03 days before Chile event While drop in correlation coefficients for foF2 and foEs were observed 05 days and 01 day before Japan event.

This paper discusses the ways for maintaining high availability of a system in order to keep high reliability figure. In doing so, the basic principles of reliability are discussed. Since good maintenance practice enhances availability, some important topics on maintenance management are also discussed. At the end recommendations are made on how to keep a system in a high availability state.
